Speaking of crushes, one of my lady ones just got married! Cortney Heimerl - crafter, blogger, writer, mom and bartendress extraordinaire - was hitched in Portage, Wisconsin on August 6.

There is an amazing feature on the nuptials on Ghazal Sheei's blog, Home Again, which is a great way to spend a few hours as well.

Twig Terrariums

 

I am in LOVE! Twig Terrariums made in Brooklyn, NY are the most delicate and beautiful moss homes I have ever seen. Each terrarium has a scene inside of it, from teenagers canoodling to Jurassic Park. They are made with such precision and thought and the completed pieces are all exceptional and one of a kind.

Friendship Bracelets

Over the weekend my dear friend Claire gifted Nurit and I matching bracelets that she created by first cutting a gold chain necklace she wore as a child into three pieces. She then took each of those strands and attached a tread to make it a full bracelet. It is my new favorite thing in the world and means so much to me.
