Lady Grey, another Brooklyn favorite, is a metalsmithing jewelry house founded by Jill Martinelli and Sabine Le Guyader who design and hand-make every piece. Check out (and buy) their amazing accessories and waste some serious time checking out their blog, Lady Grey Lair!
Superfield, hailing from Brooklyn, NY, is a handmade leather and woven accessories company designed by Rachel Rosenfield. All of her bags, key chains, bracelets, etc, are made out of recycled/repurposed leather and woven materials. I love her stuff! Also check out the Superfield blog where she posts her inspirations and updates about the line.

About a year ago I felt heavy regret about not buying certain favorited items on Etsy and I made a memorial page for them on this site. This year I thought that I would do the same thing by paying respects to my favorite items that were viciously bought from under my nose ;-)
Summer is the season for dying your sheets, shirts or whatever you feel like. It's the perfect outdoors activity. One of my favorite sites, Poppy Talk, hosted an instructional featuring dyer extraordinaire, Karina from Maple Oak & Ash!
I can't wait to dye my curtains and sheets!
This weekend I went to Virginia Beach to visit my cutie-pie cousins and found this amazing outdoor, above-ground, make-your-own pond in the backyard!
If you want one, all you have to do is line a barrel with thick tarp, fill it with water, and add a water pump, plants and fish (note: the owner's water pump broke ages ago and everything is still living).
I wish I had more pics of this!

I recently took a field trip to Cold Spring, NY to deliver a new batch of terrariums (website coming soon) to the Cold Spring Apothecary, founded by wife and husband team, Stacey Wesselman and Chris Pinkus. CSA is a one-of-a-kind shop that carries Stacey's homemade haircare, skincare and bodycare products, as well as candles, room sprays, AND seasonal items like all-natural bug spray (it really works!). The shop also houses the laboratory where they create all of these homeopathic, natural products and you can smell the amazement from about 30 feet outside of the store.
My terrariums getting unpacked and ready to be sold...
Chris and Stacey hard at work (or hardly working)...
CSA display & dream pillows...
Me applying eye cream & Stacey ringing up our purchases (I use the room spray non-stop, I'm obsessed)!
Quite possibly the perfect shop in a perfect town, I am keeping my fingers crossed that they open a Brooklyn location soon! In the meantime, you can shop their online store!
